Of those who stopped by our booth, there were quite a few people who were brave enough to put their piano skills to the test by playing some of our songs in…

Playground at the RPMDA Conference

Playground Sessions is a proud member of the Retail Print Music Dealers Association (RPMDA) and recently attended their annual conference in Dallas, Texas.

The RPMDA has been the voice of the print music industry since 1976 and although Playground Sessions isn’t a conventional member of RPMDA, we all share the same mission to provide the highest quality music arrangements while fairly compensating the songwriters and music publishers. Queens College

Last week we had the opportunity to host an open house at Queen’s College, alma mater of our Associate Music Director, David Gracia (seen demonstrating Playground in the image). Among the presenters there were 20 other companies such as Boosey & Hawkes, New York Foundation for the Arts, Chamber Music America, Opera America, and Lincoln Center. We were the only tech company there and we definitely created a buzz with students, staff and faculty! They all seemed very impressed not only by the advanced technology of our software but also by the potential applications…

Berklee College of Music

A week ago the team spent some time at Berklee College of Music in Boston to demonstrate Playground Sessions to the powers that be. We’re working really hard to raise awareness of Playground Sessions to those looking to learn how to play the piano, so we figured focusing on people specifically going to school to learn music would be a great direction for us! To anyone who’s unfamiliar with Berklee, it’s a very prestigious music school, rivaled only by Julliard in New York. You can learn more about Berklee here:

Guitar Center Musician’s Expo 2014

Last weekend we had the opportunity to showcase Playground Sessions to Guitar Center staff and the general public at the Guitar Center Musician’s Expo! As we work to continue raising awareness about our product, it’s great to be given these opportunities to show people what we’re made of. The reactions we received were great and we even had a few brave souls play through a few of our rookie songs, landing 60% accuracy and above – not bad for people who knew nothing about the piano! Here are a few pictures we grabbed from…
