Thank you for reaching out. Performance anxiety is a very personal and sensitive matter, so it will require some soul-searching to find the solution that will work for you. But in my experience, shifting the focus off of yourself and your fear to the music you are making in the moment is probably the best strategy I’ve found. I would also recommend recording your performances starting with small, manageable chunks to gradually get more comfortable. Hope this helps!

Lessons with Harry Connick Jr. are featured throughout our curriculum. But we also feature other teachers depending on the topic covered. Hope that helps!

OK..... I am 71, played the tuba semi-professionally and a quintet for a years. Have a music degree., Still play the tuba and am learning the electric bass, little by little. Yes I would like to play some popular tunes on the piano but also 2 part inventions, simple mozart and Beethoven too.. Of course practice is mandatory, I get that!!! I am looking at options from individual teacher for adults to programs like yours; Do you think it would work for me with the work necessary to become moderately proficient.....Thank you......Bill Miller

Hi Phil
Thanks for your efforts in making this great tutorial.
I love that you went to the right hand and included the sheet music.

It’s given me, an amateur wannabe, not only an idea on how I play the jump riff, but helped me learn to recognise notes on the treble ledger.

In reply to <a href="https://blog.playgroundsessions.com/playground-sessions-best-piano-resource-by-tutorful/#comment-8525">Darlene</a>.

Darlene, please see the answers below.
1. We provide two lesson samples with Harry. A Rookie level lesson on rhythm, you mentioned: https://youtu.be/CsjiUan4HNw, and an Advanced level lesson on genres and styles: https://youtu.be/85MxFVYRE_M. To see the full curriculum, including the rest of the lessons with Harry, please sign up for a membership and download our app.
2. To have access to the full interactive experience with real-time feedback, accuracy scores, progress charts, and more, you need to connect a keyboard or digital piano using a USB or MIDI cable, depending on the available ports. That way the app can track what you're playing and instantly provide feedback, which is essential for the learning experience, especially if you're a beginner player. If you don't have a keyboard, feel free to browse through our keyboard bundles here: https://www.playgroundsessions.com/store/keyboard-bundles
